This week's Band Spotlight has a special place in my heart. Kit and the Branded Men played our April 3 Taste for Artisans party and were a huge hit. Well, the whole party was a hit but K&BM (as I sometimes shorthand it) definitely held up their end of the entertainment bargain. We are really excited to have them on our stage again. Read on:

Kit and the Branded Men

Kit and the Branded Men is a four piece classic country band from the East Bay. With influences such as Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline & Rose Maddox... You might stumble upon a waltz, 2-step, bopper or old-timey tear-jerkin' cryer.

Darryl Pretto on telecaster provides the lead guitar twang, Glen Earl Brown Jr on bass and Jon Hunkiewicz on drums walk out a solid rhythm section. Front and center, strumming her guitar and singing hits from the past and originals from today is Kit Lopez.

Learn more about the band at the K&BM website, or listen to songs at the K&BM Myspace page.
