Chevron Protest Focuses on Oil Giant's Dismal Record

Twenty-nine protesters were arrested yesterday outside Chevron’s headquarters in San Ramon, while demonstrating against the oil giant’s dismal environmental record. According to the CoCo Times, the protest drew about 100 demonstrators who represented thirty Bay Area environmental and anti-globalization groups. The protest was timed to coincide with the start of global climate talks in Copenhagen.
