Remember when college dorms were a laid-back realm of friends and fun? Not anymore, as this bulletin just received from the UC Police Department about a terrifying midnight armed robbery in a UCB dorm reveals: "On Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 12:51 a.m. UCPD received a report of a hot prowl burglary and armed robbery which had just occurred on the Clark Kerr Campus in a residential suite in Building 17. Two male suspects entered the suite via an open kitchen window. They proceeded into the suite; suspect #1 entered a bedroom occupied by two 18 year old, white male students, while suspect #2 stood in the hallway. Once inside the bedroom, suspect #1 turned on the light, slammed the door shut and at gun point demanded a lap top. After taking the lap top, the suspect then demanded the other victim's wallet. The suspect in the hall periodically opened the door urging his accomplice to hurry. The two suspects then fled the suite with the lap top via the front door. The suspects were last seen fleeing CKC on foot. UCPD and BPD searched the area but were unable to find the suspects. ... The suspects are described as: Suspect #1 -- A Black male, 6'0" in height, 220 lbs., wearing a shiny synthetic blue cap pulled over his face, a black puffy jacket with a fur lined hood, a red billed baseball cap, carrying a handgun and smelling of cigarette smoke. Suspect #2 -- A Black male, 6'2" in height, 190 lbs., wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and carrying a yellow and black backpack." Lock your windows, folks.
