Nice piece on UC's compensation packages in yesterday's Berkeley Daily Planet. Cal chancellor Robert Birgeneau makes $430,000 a year, but it may interest you to note that Jeff Tedford, the UC Berkeley football coach Cal is building the sports training center to keep around, made a tidy $2.8 million last year. We'd love to see how that breaks down; it can't possibly be his salary, can it? Is there some sort of bonus pay for making it to a bowl game or something? By the way, John Yoo? The man everyone loves to hate? Clocking in with $200,000.
