Another victim of the economy: In an email sent last night, Leo's Pro Audio President Rosemary Rodd announced that her Oakland business will be closing after nearly sixty years in business. "After 56 years, it is time for Leo's Pro Audio to close our doors," she wrote. "The industry, the economy, and California brick and mortar retailing have all changed so much that it no longer makes sense for us to be in this business." Rodd doesn't specify when Leo's will close for good.
Leo's Pro Audio, located at 5447 Telegraph Ave, specializes in recording and live sound equipment, and carries a limited supply of instruments and other music gear.
