An infectious disco dance beat, synthesizer melody, acoustic guitar work, and killer lyrics have Baltimore’s Frenemies blowing me away with its track “Everybody Wants a Piece of You” off its fantastic August 2006 release Birds In High School. This band has major crossover potential and a distinct sound that its members define as glam/jam band/grunge on itsMySpace page. Somehow, it works.
