Wednesday Must Read: Pedophile Priests, Segregated Prisons, and Carly's Economic Prognostication.

In yet another case of the Catholic Church displaying more concern for its own reputation than for the well-being of its young members, an alleged pedophile priest was shuffled from Ireland to California during the 1980s, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. Patrick Joseph McCabe was subsequently accused of inappropriate conduct at a parish in Eureka in the mid-1980s. He lives in Alameda today, and was recently charged by Irish authorities with sexually assaulting young boys.
Only four of the state's thirty prisons have managed to desegregate their cells in the five years since the US Supreme Court said that such assignments may not be based solely on race, News21 reported in the San Francisco Chronicle. In the 1960s and 1970s, states such as California developed a racial criteria for segregating inmates as prison gangs grew in response to the explosion in inmate populations. But the segregation of inmates only hardened the racial divisions among inmates, as a 2004 East Bay Express story about the Nuestra Familia prison gang pointed out. Carly Fiorina says less government intervention is needed to jump-start the US economy, the Chron reports. After all, she drove down HP's stock value by about 60 percent without any government assistance.

I am a surviving victim of Fr. Patrick Joseph Mccabe, that monster abused me in the late 1970s in Dublin and I know of several other victims of this beast. I think it is important that his latest victims see justice done before it is too late, sending the animal back to Ireland will do them no good as he will have the luxury of living out his natural life in his homeland with a great deal of comfort as the catholic church still hold a great deal of power and influence there. That excuse of a human has no place in society and it disgusts me to discover that he has continued with his evil ways for all of these years. I made complaints to Priests that served with him (canon McMahon and Fr. Carbury P.P.) also the Police (Garda) in Ireland, I have always looked for closure on this as it still haunts me on a daily basis. That creature has influenced my life and relationships since i was a young alter-boy in a parish he served in but never got a mention in any of the reports about this deviant (artane Parish, Dublin 5.)
I strongly urge the authorities there to make that filthbag face his crimes there before extraditing him, let the victims in the USA have their justice, don't let them struggle mentally through life without closure, and please, please, please eMail me to let me know what is happening to him.....I too need closure.
