Berkeley Gets New Police Chief

Seattle Police Captain Michael Meehan has been selected to be Berkeley's new police chief by City Manager Phil Kamlarz, according to the Trib. Meehan will replace former Chief Douglas Hambleton, who retired in September. Meehan's salary will be $205,400 - if approved by the Berkeley City Council on Tuesday. — Robert Gammon
