Home sales nationwide dropped in August for the first time in four months, decreasing 2.7 percent. The decline mirrored the same downward trend experienced in the Bay Area. According to the Associated Press, experts also predict that home prices will continue to fall over the coming months, although they expect prices to bottom out early next year.
