Fremont Company Send Economic Love to Michigan

A Fremont based company, Systems in Motion, announced plans yesterday to open a service center near Ann Arbor, Michigan that will employ over 1000 workers. Calling its work "in-shoring," the company provides customers with software systems support, assistance with IT operations, and project and program management. The company received significant state tax credits and additional support from local governmental entities and universities.
According to its website, "Systems In Motion competes and wins in a hot, flat and crowded global marketplace against companies from India, China, Hungary and Mexico."
