Is Melissa Huckaby Protecting Someone?

Robert Gammon —  Mon, Apr 20, 2009 at 10:53 AM

It just doesn't fit. Why would Melissa Huckaby, a 28-year-old Sunday school teacher with no history of violence, molest and murder little Sandra Cantu? Women just don't commit this type of crime, unless they've teamed up with a violent man. So did Huckaby act alone, or is she protecting someone. That's just one of the provocative questions raised in an interesting piece worth reading in yesterday's San Francisco Chronicle.

Woman can be every bit as violent and ignorant than men. However the rape of a little girl, and the murder. It is not a common thing for a mother to do that. A woman yes can commit that crime, but a mother not often. Not saying that it isnt the case. Regardless if it was her or she is covering which personally I think she is. She is still a part of that little girls death. And it is wrong. I honestly think that it was a man close to the situation that may have assulted Sandra, and the other little girl that was taken to the park. I think that Melissa was a part of the situation in luring the little ones in. Maybe to protect her and her little girl. Who knows. But there is more than her involved. One person will sit in jail, but I think that the law should keep their eyes open. Maybe that is why they searched the church again. What if it was the grandfather??? who knows. I honestly feel she did not act alone.

So, what's your explanation for her taking the other little girl two months prior in January? She just didn't get away with it that time. She was on the "hunt" and should have been stopped then!!!

it's possible she didn't act alone or is protecting someone, or involved in child pornography, but also just a s possible she did do this herself...ignorant question...women can be just as nasty as men! wake up!

you do realize that there is this type of evil in the world right?
because why would casey anothony murder her OWN daughter???
she has had no history of violence either but we all know she is guilty.
but as it is said by nancy grace, it does not add up. BUT they say that she is involved in child pornography. take that into consideration as well.

Do some research. There are any number of real life stories of au pairs, nannies, babysitters, and other females who have abused or killed other peoples' children. What's the motive? Sometimes they were abused themselves. Sometimes they BELIEVED they were abused and bullied and can't reciprocate to the person who did it ('must never bully the bully!')....

Torey Hayden is an excellent author and has written many books on the subject of abused kids....and what happened to them later in life. Some broke the pattern. Some did other crimes, due to unresolved emotional upheaval in their pasts.

She wrote once of a young 6 y.o. girl who was abused and lived in appalling conditions at home....and took it out on a younger child....tying the child to a tree and setting him on fire.

The stories are out there. It kills me how people who don't know about such things think that just because THEY LIVE IN LALA LAND where everything is peachy, nothing like this happens. They're woefully ignorant and possibly glad of it. But then they come out of the woodwork with their disbelief and think just like some of the rest of you do. Good for you that you live in a protected sheltered bubble.

The rest of us don't and are horrified on a regular basis but determined to do something about it.

This kind of sensationalistic garbage is what gives media a bad name. Any answers are
speculative and void of any useful insight. Posting unknowable "provacative questions"is not a skill. Get on with some real journalism or find a new profession.
