New Stem Cell Grants Leave Cal in the Dust

The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine has announced its latest round of stem cell funding, and UC Berkeley's feeling like a stepchild today. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the only Cal researcher to receive any cash is Lin He, and he appears to be doing a joint program at UCSF. So we can't even claim him all the way. Looks like no glory for the old alma mater. Cue resigned sighs.
