Cheap Gas … Not in Oakland

With gas prices topping $3.50 per gallon in most places in the East Bay, drivers might want to spend more time hunting for the cheapest prices. OaklandGasPrices.com aggregates prices at the pump based on reader reports. What's most revealing about the site, however, is just where the most expensive and least expensive prices are. Why is the cheapest reported gas ($3.28) overwhelmingly in the ‘burbs (Concord, Dublin, San Ramon), and the most expensive ($3.81) in West Oakland?
